Without obtaining a new visa, students can continue their education at the same institution. They must reapply for a new visa if they switch colleges or apply for a higher visa tier.
Students who have completed their studies under Tier 4 may apply for immigration under Tier 1 Post-Study Work.
The UK Border Agency won’t BORING about the evaluation and acceptance of academic standards for any individual course by any given institution because it is entirely up to the university. For instance, a student who graduated in 2005 but hasn’t pursued higher education for four years would now desire to do so. The UK Border Agency will no longer look into the causes of the gap, etc.
The course, tuition amount, and advance payment made toward the tuition fee must all be mentioned in the visa letter from the university, which must also describe the selection process for the student. After successfully completing his course, he can be qualified for various visa categories (Tier 1 to 3). It should be encouraged to apply at least 3 to 4 months before the end of the course or the expiration of the applicant’s current visa.
After receiving an appointment by email from VFS UK, you can personally submit your visa application there. If the veracity of the documents is established, the issuance of the visa won’t take more than 7 to 15 days. There will be a personal visa if the visa officials believe an interview may be necessary.

That you are a legitimate student who is just travelling to the UK to further your education
That you and your sponsors can afford to spend the cash you have set up to pay for your tuition and living expenses in the UK.
That you will depart the UK after your course is over and won’t overstay your visa unless you’ve received a visa extension, a TWES, or a work permit for business or commercial purposes.
Refund policies vary from institution to college. Therefore, before applying for your visa and making any prepayments for tuition, you should consider carefully whether you want to study at that institution. Refunds are possible, however the university has the option of sending the money back to India for you to pick it up in person or considering moving it to the institution you now want to attend school at, if that institution is accredited. Before prepaying your tuition, kindly review your institution’s refund policy.
On November 1st, 2007, the Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) was unveiled. It is used to counteract the dissemination of information and expertise that could be applied to the spread of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and their delivery systems. Other governments all across the world share this.
Only Postgraduate Students who need a visa to study in the UK or who want to extend their present leave to remain as students are required to have an ATAS certificate.
Details about the course and higher education institution for which you have requested approval are shown on an ATAS certificate. Therefore, if you have more than one offer from other universities or institutions, you must apply separately for each university or institution and each programme of study’s ATAS clearance certificate.
As long as the specifics of your course remain the same, your ATAS certificate is still valid. An ATAS certificate can be requested up to a year before the start of your course.
If your course falls under one of the following categories and you are requesting a visa extension to remain in the UK, you must submit an ATAS clearance application.
If you want to do more than six months of research in the UK, you might additionally need an ATAS Certificate.
Prior to submitting your visa application, you will require this. Only some courses require the ATAS. Before submitting your visa application, you must determine if you are impacted.
