Admission to Masters programmes in engineering, science, and disciplines other than management, law, or medicine requires the GRE. To assess a student’s capacity to utilise language logically, verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills are examined. The GRE has a maximum score of ‘QUANT’ + ‘VERBAL’ = 340. On a scale of 1 to 6, the GRE Analytical Writing Section is graded.
